<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a brushless DC motor with abnormality protective function capable of performing abnormality protection of a pole detector easily by detecting abnormality thereof easily. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of a brushless DC motor with abnormality protective function comprises a control block 10 for controlling the brushless DC motor with pole signals Sa, Sb and Sc from a plurality of Hall ICs 21 arranged around the rotor 22 of the brushless DC motor 20.
