<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment method and system capable of concentrating waste water to electrolyze, and furthermore, oxidizing and decomposing an organic compound contained in evaporating gas generated in a concentration process. <P>SOLUTION: The waste water treatment system is constituted by combining evaporation/concentration device 10 and gas treating catalyst device 30 with an electrolytic reaction device 20 wherein electrolysis of the organic compound contained in the waste water is performed. In the evaporation/concentration device 10, the waste water is evaporated and concentrated, and the concentrated water is electrolyzed by the electrolytic reaction device 20, and furthermore, the evaporating gas generated in the concentration process is led to the gas treating catalyst device 30 and the organic compound contained in the evaporating gas is oxidized and decomposed by the catalyst of the gas treating catalyst device 30. As a result, the waste water containing organic compound can effectively be treated, and furthermore, the organic matter contained in the evaporating gas can almost completely be oxidized and decomposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
