PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a smooth dialog between a user and a character type agent.

SOLUTION: An information presentation system presents information to the user by changing the behavior of the agent based on reply information of the user obtained from the dialog between the character type agent displayed on a screen and the user. The system has an input means for inputting the reply information; a personality evaluation means for evaluating the personality of each user, based on question information for the user and the reply information; a script generation means for generating a script, based on the personality information for generating the script obtained by the personality evaluation means; and an agent control means for controlling the behavior of the agent to display the behavior on the screen, based on the script obtained by the script generation means.
