PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression bag which can be manufactured with a single process, resulting in the reduction of manufacturing cost, which is easy to handle because of little resistance encountered in vacuuming air with the hand, and which allows a high degree of freedom in designing. SOLUTION: The compression bag 1 is provided that comprises a flexible resin made front face sheet 11 and a rear face sheet 12, between which a commodity encasing portion 2 and an air passage 3 are formed, through which air passage the air existing in the commodity encasing portion 2 is vacuumed. Between the commodity encasing portion 2 and the air passage 3, a communicating portion 31 is provided through which air can be passed while an encased commodity disposed in the commodity encasing portion 2 can not, and a deaeration opening 32 is provided, on the front face sheet 11, which communicates the air passage 3 with the outside of the compression bag 1, and on the rear face sheet 12 at the air passage 3 side, at a position opposite to the deaeration opening 32, an intermediary flexible resin sheet 33 is provided.
