The security system has a combination of a capacitive sensor (2) and a low frequency antenna (4). The capacitive sensor and the low frequency antenna are arranged in the door handle of a motor vehicle and the sensor surface of the capacitive sensor is formed into a comb-shaped metal surface in order to reduce eddy current losses.
