METHOD FOR CENTERING A PAIR OF OPHTHALMIC LENSES IN THE CIRCLES OF A FRAME

The invention relates to a method for centering a pair of ophthalmic lenses (110) in the circles (11, 12) of a frame. Each ophthalmic lens has a reference optical center(CO) and a centering height corresponding to the distance separating the optical center or reference center from the lower edge of the corresponding circle of the frame. According to said method, a) each ophthalmic lens is positioned in each circle in order to make the optical center or reference center coincide with the determined position of the pupil (P1, P2) of the wearer in relation to the circle of the frame; b) the two ophthalmic lenses are jointly displaced, while maintaining the height or interpupillary distance constant in order to eliminate existing points of intersection between each circle of the frame and the edge (111, 112) of each ophthalmic lens.
