<p>A bicycle having a main frame, drive means with pivoting shaft for driving a wheel, steering means, and a front and a rear wheel with at least either of the wheels being two wheeled, where the two-wheeled wheel are the driving wheels. The main frame has a differential device for driving, through a transmission mechanism, each of the two-wheeled wheel in a cooperating manner. The differential device is constituted of an umbrella-like first gear that is supported by a supporting shaft radially extending from the pivoting shaft and of umbrella-like second gears that mesh, on both sides of the first gear, with the first gear and are supported by the pivoting shaft. Each of the second gears is made to cooperate with each of the driving wheels of the two-wheeled wheel. Also provided is a differential device for a bicycle, constituted of an umbrella-like first gear that is supported by a supporting shaft radially extending from a boss capable of being installed on a pivoting shaft for driving and of umbrella-like second gears that mesh, on both sides of the first gear, with the first gear, face to each other, and are supported by the pivoting shaft. The second gears can cooperate with driving wheels through transmission mechanisms.</p> |
