PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a print image ensuring optimal print finish at the time of photography without requiring post-processing of an image being obtained by digital photography. SOLUTION: A sample image ensuring optimal print finish is prestored in a sample image data base for each photography scene of different background, pause, or the like, and a sample image corresponding to the photography scene of an actual object is selected among these sample images (step S10). The object is photographed by a digital camera at a photography place under standard photography conditions to acquire a photograph image (step S14). The photograph image is compared with a selected sample image and photograph conditions required for matching with print finish of the sample image are calculated based on the comparison results (step S18).
