PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for a membrane switch which shows excellent moldability during molding, moldability at a low temperature in particular, and gives a molding showing excellence in elastic shape stability (thermal shrinkage and unevenness of thickness), printability, light fastness, economical efficiency and the like. SOLUTION: The polyester film for the membrane switch contains a polyester copolymer composed of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component containing a branched aliphatic glycol and/or an alicyclic glycol. A ratio (H/d) of a haze H(%) to thickness d(μm) of the film is less than 0.010. The stress of the film at 100% elongation in lengthwise and widthwise directions is not less than 10 MPa to less than 180 MPa at 25°C, and 1 to 100 MPa at 100°C.
