PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a retrieval by use of a user profile in an information delivery system based on user profiles. SOLUTION: In this information delivery method, an information management server 2 which manages contents associated with delivery conditions delivers the contents based on a user profile. The information management server 2 executes procedures of accepting input of a user profile; selecting contents associated with a delivery condition having the left side value of the user profile from contents managed by the information management server as first content candidates; selecting contents associated with a delivery condition matched to the right side value of the user profile from the first content candidates as second content candidates; and outputting the first or second content candidates.
