PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector for acquiring write images, after completing write working. SOLUTION: The projector for projecting projection images on a screen comprises a camera for imaging the screen; an imaging means for repeatedly imaging by the camera at each time by projecting uniform light, without projecting the projection image, on at least a partial region of the screen; a comparison means for comparing an image newly imaged by the imaging means with an image imaged previously by the imaging means; a deleting means for deleting any one of the newly imaged image and the previously imaged image, when the difference between the newly imaged image and the previously imaged image is smaller than a preset reference value.
