The data processing equipment (40) includes an interface for wireless integration of the equipment into a personal area network and a switching arrangement for switching the equipment on and off. The switching arrangement comprises an antenna, which uses energy of a communication signal to switch the portable data processing equipment on. Independent claims are also included for data transmission method and for network including the data processing equipment.
