The casing (3) is cup-shaped and integral with the second bearing mounting (19). The annular corrugated washer (5) includes guides (14a-c) extending inwardly to the rotor shaft (4). These enable centering of the washer, both on the shaft and within the second bearing mounting (19). An Independent claim is included for the method of making the bearing assembly.
