<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video data recording system, a video data management server, a video data recording method, program, and a storage medium with the program stored thereon in which video data captured by a plurality of video cameras can be easily searched and the plurality of pieces of image data are handled while relating them to each other. <P>SOLUTION: There are included a recording apparatus for recording video images and a video data management server 10 for managing recorded video data. The recording apparatus transmits, to the video data management server 10, a recording start signal having a group ID indicative of a group to which the recording apparatus belongs. The video data management server 10 includes a means for referring to a operational status list indicating operational status of recording apparatus using the received group ID as a key, and a management ID transmission means for imparting a management ID and a sub management ID to manage the video data recorded by the recording apparatus and transmitting the IDs in accordance with the operational status of the recording apparatus referred by the operational status list reference means, and the group ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
