<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the processing burden of a reproducing device when part of dynamic image data under reproduction is printed as a still picture by a streaming system; and to avoid increase in traffic on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A network printer 103 receives streaming data on the moving picture that delivery is requested by a client computer 102 simultaneously with the operation of the client computer 102. A network printer 103 applies successive buffering to only picture data on one I frame and responds to print instructions sent from the client computer 102, decodes the picture data on the I frame associated with the buffering, and prints the picture data as the still picture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
