SIGNAL PROCESSING CIRCUIT, QUADRATURE DEMODULATOR AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING ERROR IN SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit in which signals can be prevented from being deteriorated by accurately estimating not only an amplitude error but also a phase error of the signals which may be generated due to the device characteristics of components of a receiver and quickly correcting these error components without requiring feedback control.

SOLUTION: The signal processing circuit is constituted of mutual correlation value calculation parts 3a-3f for calculating a mutual correlation value between two signals which are orthogonally detected and a phase error calculation part 3g for calculating the phase displacement of the other signal to either one of two signals as a phase error on the basis of the mutual correlation value calculated by the mutual correlation value calculation parts 3a-3f.
