<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink end detecting type writing utensil, in which the end sign of ink is made sure and, at the same time, visually interesting and aesthetically excellent by a method wherein a mechanism for detecting the ink end sign of the writing utensil supplying ink impregnated in an ink occluding body in a barrel to a pen point is improved. <P>SOLUTION: In this ink end detecting type writing utensil, in which the ink impregnated in the ink occluding body in the barrel is supplied to the pen point, the ink impregnated in the ink occluding body is supplied through an ink guiding tube made of visible transparent or semitransparent material to the pen point and, at the same time, the ink end sign sent from the ink occluding body is detected by visually recognizing the ink guiding tube through an visually recognizing part formed on the barrel, the problem is dissolved by providing one ink guiding tube, within which a plurality of ink passages are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
