PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parapet connecting structure and a parapet connecting method that can simplify fastening work and reduce cost while ventilating an attic space. SOLUTION: The eaves edge part of a roof 3 is joined to the upper end of a building body 1, and a parapet 2 is erected at the upper end of the building body 1 on the surface side of the eaves edge part. In the connecting structure of the parapet 2 for connecting the parapet 2 to the building body 1, a fastening hole 112a for connection to the parapet 2 is formed on the upper end back face side of the building body 1, and a ventilating hole 212a for ventilating the eaves edge part is formed on the lower end back face side of the parapet 2, corresponding to the fastening position of the fastening hole 112a.
