PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an environment for freely using one disk between an AV device and a PC device by providing a new file management method capable of properly managing more files while maintaining compatibility with a conventional file system. SOLUTION: The file management method is established in a file system employed by an AV device and a file system PCF supported by a PC and many files to be managed, and an optional file managed by the file system AVFS is also a file managed by the file system PCFS.
