PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote video image monitoring system capable of improving usability and reducing the cost of system usage. SOLUTION: The remote video image monitoring system is provided with terminal devices 1-1N of clients, monitoring devices 2-2N for photographing a site to be monitored or installed apparatus of each client as necessary and transmitting obtained video information, and a data center 3. Conditions of the site to be monitored and installed apparatus are confirmed by the terminal devices 1-1N on the basis of the video information transmitted from the monitoring devices 2-2N. In this system, if an authentication means 13 of the data center 3 determines that connection to the monitoring devices 2-2N is possible, an application corresponding to a client having sent a connection request is acquired from an application database 14 of the data center 3 and transmitted to each of terminal devices 1-1N of the client having sent the connection request, and the application is set so as to be automatically in a usable state.
