PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which is small in shape and size variations among respective particles and is superior in various characteristics, such as electrostatic charge characteristics and fixing characteristics, using an environmentally-friendly method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the toner by using liquids containing raw materials for manufacturing the toner has a coalescence process of discharging a first liquid from a first head part, discharging a second liquid from the second head part different from the first head part, and allowing these to collide against each other and coalesce to each other, to obtain coalesced matter and a caking process of caking the coalesced matter, while carrying the same within the caking part. Of the first liquid and the second liquid one liquid contains the constituent of the toner which is not contained in the other liquid. The first liquid and the second liquid do not contain the constituent of the common toner. A wax is contained, only in the one liquid of the first liquid and the second liquid.
