PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radiographic image photographing device made thin and light in weight while satisfying a withstand load specification. SOLUTION: The radiographic image photographing device is an electronic cassette 10 constituted of a radiation detecting panel 16 for detecting radiation transmitted through a subject, a base 15 for mounting and supporting the panel 16, and a housing 11 in which these are included. A plurality of supporting members 14 supporting the base 15 are arranged on the lower surface 15b side of the base 15 opposed to the upper surface 15a on which the panel 16 is mounted between the lower housing 11a and the base 15, and the base 15 is constituted so that a gap H<SB>a</SB>between the lower surface 15b of the base 15 and an electronic part 18a arranged in the lower housing 11a satisfies a relationδ<SB>a</SB><H<SB>a</SB>when it is assumed that the deflection of the base 15 in the withstand load specification of the radiographic image photographing device isδ<SB>a</SB>.
