PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared imaging device with improved reliability of the display of the infrared images and for decreasing the magnitude and the mass of a level scanner. SOLUTION: In the device, an infrared detection element is used. In an ineffective scanning region established at the outside of an effective scanning region on an afocal first imaging face, which performs imaging of the infrared image which an object to be measured radiates, the infrared imaging device, displaying the infrared image which the imaging, is performed in the effective scanning region, by correcting the variations in the infrared detection element introducing the infrared rays which radiates from a temperature standard heat source into the afocal lens system. This device has characteristics, equipped with an adjusting mechanism, corresponding to an environmental temperature variations in the position of at least one lens in front, arranged from the afocal first imaging face and the position of at least one lens arranged farther back than the afocal first image face.
