In a service that a user of a mobile telephone utilizes the Web browser, the electronic settlement requires a complicated procedure including a plenty of steps. There is provided a service support system in which a predetermined program executed on a mobile telephone has the page display function corresponding to the Web browser and can read/write data from/into a non-volatile memory of the mobile telephone. When the user applies for a particular service use on the Internet, the program transmits personal information stored in the mobile telephone in advance, to a server providing a service and performs the use fee settlement by using the electronic money accumulated in the non-contact IC card mounted on the mobile telephone.
