<p>The device has fuel injected into a combustion chamber of a combustion engine (20) with a low pressure pump (22). The fuel is fed from fuel supply (26) with a high-pressure pump (32). The fuel is under high pressure under the control of two high-pressure pumps. The second high-pressure pump is electrically connected to a further pump of a motor vehicle. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of an injection pressure.</p>
