<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease an external force applied to the bottom of a package container 15 via a bottom panel 1 of a tray-shaped packaging box to prevent damage to fruit and vegetables that are housed in the package container 15 housed in the packaging box. <P>SOLUTION: The tray-shaped packaging box is formed by raising panels for forming the side walls of the box on two counter sides of the bottom panel 1, raising panels for forming the end walls of the box on the other two counter sides of the bottom panel 1, and connecting adjacent respective side wall panels and end wall panels to form the box with an open top face. The tray-shaped package container 15 is housed in the completed box. Ventilation holes 19, 19' are formed at the bottom panel side on the panels forming the walls. Support flaps 10, 11 are formed inside the box to support a flange 17 extending on the periphery of the package container 15.
