<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal light simple in structure, capable of emitting multicolor lights, good in visibility day and night, and capable of sending signal contents with ease and precision. <P>SOLUTION: The signal light has a main body 12 in a shape of a cylinder for projecting a light, a grip 14 mounted in the main body 12, two or more LEDs 18 mounted on the main body 12 for emitting different color lights respectively, and a switch 28 for switching among the LEDs 18 according to color. A substrate 16 is mounted along the direction of the length of the main body 12, and the LEDs 18 are arranged on both sides of the substrate 16 in an alternating manner in a staggered configuration so that adjacent LEDs 18 emit different color lights from each other. A flexible prism sheet 20 for scattering light in various directions is placed in the main body 12 cylindrically to surround the substrate 16 and the LEDs 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
