<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display device and a driving method thereof, wherein an input data is modulated to realize accurate color even with a single gamma voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The flat panel display device, includes a timing controller for receiving the input of digital data, a data converter for converting the digital data so as to have a gray scale number varying according to the colors of the digital data, and a data drive circuit for driving pixel cells, by converting the digital data from the data converter into analog data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
