<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic titration apparatus for a COD meter for efficiently, regularly and stably measuring without clogging of a titration nozzle due to a solidified manganese dioxide converted from an oxidized potassium permanganate reagent or necessities of both regularly cutting a tip of the titration nozzle and cleaning it. <P>SOLUTION: The air nozzle automatic titration apparatus for the COD meter is provided with a reaction tank 1 installed in an oil bath 2, the titration nozzle 3 whose tip is inserted into the reaction tank 1, an automatic titration device 4 with a syringe 7 driven by a motor, a reagent tank 5 of the potassium permanganate reagent 8, and a three-way electromagnetic valve 6 for connecting the automatic titration device 4 to the titration nozzle 3 or the reagent tank 5. A three-way branch pipe 10 connected to an air pump 11 is disposed between the titration nozzle 3 and the three-way electromagnetic valve 6 and outside of the oil bath 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
