<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of reliably detecting foreign matters adhering to a shield glass of a vehicle etc. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing system is provided with an image processing device 1, a first light source 2, and a second light source 3. The light emission timings of the first light source 2 and the second light source 3 are controlled by the image processing device. Light emitted from the first light source 2 penetrates the glass 4. In the case that rain drops 8 adheres to the outside of the glass, the light reflected at the rain drops and light emitted from the second light source 3 reflected at the surface of the glass 4 enter an imaging element 30 through a lens 10 of the image processing device and an optical filter 20 having prescribed optical characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
