PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle communication apparatus appropriate for communication between communication apparatuses of vehicles utilizing spared paired wires installed in the vehicles or an electric wire for supplying a DC voltage or AC voltage. SOLUTION: Communication apparatuses 5 installed in a driver's room or a conductor's room 1 and respective vehicles are connected to each other with the spared paired wires via connectors in joints of vehicles, so that a communication among the communication apparatuses 5 is performed by using signals of communication bands of≥1MHz and≤30MHz. Furthermore, the communication apparatuses 5 installed in the driver's room or conductor's room 1 and respective vehicles are connected to each other with the electric wire for supplying the DC voltage or AC voltage via the connectors in the joints of the vehicles, so that the communication among the communication apparatuses 5 is performed by using the signals of communication bands of≥1MHz and≤30MHz.
