PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal wherein pictorial communication and speech communication are simultaneously enabled, good picture information can be transmitted to a partner, good picture information can be also receivable from the partner, picture information or pictures or characters which are drawn by a user with a pen or a hand by using a touchpad in order to be transmitted to the partner during a telephone conversation can be stored or transmitted to the partner, and further a plurality of image pick-up means and display means are installed, so that a pictorial communication function can be more improved. SOLUTION: This portable communication apparatus includes a main part, a folder which is arranged on the main part so as to be freely rotated and covers or opens the main part, at least one first camera which photographs a picture, at least one display unit arranged on the folder, and at least one display unit arranged on the main part.
