PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display unit equipped with a color correction circuit capable of displaying an image which is corrected in more suitable color and has vivid and more natural color tone visually. SOLUTION: The display is equipped with: an A/D conversion circuit 21; a matrix converting circuit 22; a hue converting circuit 23; a saturation converting circuit 24; a color difference converting circuit 25; an inverse matrix converting circuit 26; a signal processing circuit 1; a microcomputer 3; a display device 4; a specifc hue correction circuit 11 which controls a hue in a specific color among the image signals inputted to the signal processing circuit 1; a specific color saturation correction circuit 12 which corrects color saturation in the specific color; and a color adaptive luminance gain control circuit 14A for brightness in the specific color.
