PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording regenerative apparatus and an image recording regenerative method capable of supporting of play list creation. SOLUTION: A record medium 111 records image data 113 and a plurality of play lists 112. A composition selector 115 displays a play list selecting screen 401 for persuading a user to select a play list to be an object of a composition in a display unit 105. A play list creation / execution portion 108 creates a new play list by reading from the record medium 111 a plurality of play lists 112 selected by the selector 115, and composing them.
