PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type speaker, a display apparatus, and a foldable information processing apparatus capable of protecting a transparent panel and an exciter and avoiding degrading of the maintainability and the versatility although only the rear side of the transparent panel is supported. SOLUTION: The panel type speaker 10 provided in front of a display screen is provided with: the transparent panel 11 for covering the front side of the display screen; the exciter 12 fitted to the rear side of the transparent panel 11 to vibrate the transparent panel 11; a support panel 15 for elastically supporting the transparent panel 11 and the exciter 12 at the rear side of the transparent panel 11; and an exterior member 16 for surrounding the outer circumference of the transparent panel 11 without supporting the transparent panel 11 and at least part of which is projected ahead more than the transparent panel 11.
