PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating a formed article prepared by laminating a polyolefin upholstery, a polypropylene core, and a urethane foam as a cushioning material, as an olefinic material. SOLUTION: The method for producing a recycled material containing a urethane foam comprises grinding a formed article 1 consisting of at least three layers prepared by laminating a polyolefin upholstery 4, a urethane foam 6 as a cushioning material, and a polypropylene core 5, adding to the ground article a compound having an active hydrogen which can react with an isocyanate, and heating and kneading the mixture at 160-250°C.
