PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cytokine inducer that induces cytokines within a short time. SOLUTION: This cytokine inducer contains as an active ingredient at least one member selected from the group consisting of 8 to 24C unsaturated fatty acids each having 1 to 3 double bonds, such as linoleic acid, linolenic acid, oleic acid, undecylenic acid, and myristoleic acid, and monoacylglycerides thereof.
