PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide porous ceramics capable of stabilizing the proliferation and habitation of microorganisms and decomposing garbage at a high speed, preventing a bad smell from being generated, and repeatedly running for a long time in decomposing the garbage. SOLUTION: The porous ceramics are those which a microorganisms prefer to live in and contain a large amount of trace elements indispensable for the microorganisms in decomposing organic materials and proliferating. In addition, at least vitamin B groups and C, which are necessary for the proliferation of the microorganisms, are stuck and adsorbed on the surface, open pores, and crystal open pores of the porous ceramics and the microorganisms are carried on the open pores and the surface of the porous ceramics.
