PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the load applied to a guide driving means when a sheet ejecting roller couple is moved. SOLUTION: The sheet eject roller couple 12 is composed of an ejecting lower roller 24 and an ejection upper roller 22. The lower roller 24 is supported rotatably on the side with the device body 20. The upper roller 22 is supported rotatably on the side with one end 21a of an ejecting upper guide 21. The end 21a of the ejecting upper guide 21 is energized by a first guide driving means 32 to the direction to press the ejecting upper roller 22 toward the ejecting lower roller 24, while the other end 21b is energized by a second guide driving means 33 in the direction of separating the ejecting upper roller 22 from the ejecting lower roller 24. The first guide driving means 32 releases the energizing force to the ejecting upper guide 21 when the second guide driving means 33 rotates the ejecting upper guide 21 so as to enable the ejecting upper guide 21 to rotate.
