PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a feed-conveying device capable of surely running a disc cable by always imparting an appropriate tension to it and without getting trouble in the actions of a disc cable tension-imparting mechanism and detecting devices such as a limit switch. SOLUTION: The subject driving device is constituted by arranging, in a box body 2, a driving wheel 3 obtained by forming a cable introduction port 8a at the upper end of a side surface plate 8, a cable-taking out port 9a at the lower end part of a side surface plate 9, a feed-recovering part 13 along the side surface plate 8 and a cable-contacting groove part 32a at a circumferential surface part which is a viscoelastic member, at the upper part of inside of the box body 2, and also arranging a swinging wheel 4 formed with a cable-contacting groove part 4b at the lower part of inside of the box body 2, and also a driving motor 5 for driving the driving wheel 3 and the disc cable tension-imparting mechanism 6 imparting the tension to the disc cable 105 by imparting resisting force to the swinging wheel 4 at the outer surface side of a back surface plate 11 of the box body 2.
