PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a hive to be efficiently made by preventing an ant from invading by storing water in an outer moat of an installation vessel for a cage for rearing wasps, and by allowing the wasps to take feed put on a feed-putting table of the cage for rearing the wasps. SOLUTION: The subject device for rearing the wasps is a box body 1 having an opened upper face and a floor face 2 allowing one or more boxes B for rearing the wasps to be put thereon. The outer moat 4 for storing the water, for preventing the ant from invading and having the upper face opened upward is formed in the outer periphery wall 3 of the installation vessel for the cage for rearing the wasps.
