The present invention relates to an addition-cross-linking two component silicone material containing one or more organopolysiloxanes having at least two vinyl groups in the molecule, at least one cross-linking agent and at least one catalyst, wherein the material contains more than 1 wt %, relative to the total quantity of the two-component silicone material, of at least one organopolysiloxane of general formula I <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?>CH<SUB>2</SUB>-CH-SiR<SUP>1</SUP>R<SUP>2</SUP>O-(SiR<SUP>1</SUP>R<SUP>2</SUP>O)<SUB>n</SUB>-SiR<SUP>1</SUP>R<SUP>2</SUP>-CH-CH<SUB>2</SUB>, <?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?> in which R<SUP>1 </SUP>and R<SUP>2 </SUP>are identical or different and are selected from the group comprising alkyl groups, aryl groups, aralkyl groups, halogen-substituted alkyl groups, halogen-substituted aralkyl groups, cyanoalkyl groups, cycloalkyl groups and cycloalkenyl groups, and n is an integral number between 1 and 9, as well as to the use of this silicone material.
