<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive membrane having a sufficient proton conductance under a low humidity, and also under a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: In the proton conductive membrane comprising a block copolymer consisting of an ion-conductive polymer segment (A) and a non-ion-conductive polymer segment (B), a main chain skeleton of the block copolymer having a structure covalently bonding an aromatic ring with a bonding group, the membrane has (i) its morphology having a micro phase separation structure, and (ii) the ionic conductive polymer segment (A) forming a continuous phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
