<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver program or the like which can obtain desired output without a user getting confused even if an application or a printer which performs different treatment on print parameters exists. <P>SOLUTION: In a comparison step, default parameters of an OS and application parameters which are print parameters specified in the application are compared.
