<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage brewer eliminating influence on beverage, which is caused by time decay of material dregs sticking to an inner wall surface of a brewer container and suitable for brewing high-quality beverage full of aroma and flavor. <P>SOLUTION: The beverage brewer has a cylinder 10 for storing a mixture obtained by air agitation of a powder material and hot water which are charged from an upper end opening 11, and a hot water supplier 20 fitted to the upper end opening 11 of a cylinder 10 and supplying cylindrical flow of the hot water. In a beverage brewer 1, the mixture of the powder material and the hot water is passed through a filter 41 and filtered at a filter block 40 to be brewed. The beverage brewer has a constriction portion 12 having a shape of Tsuzumi (a Japanese hand drum) between the upper end opening 11 and a lower end opening 13 of the cylinder 10, the inside diameter of the upper end opening 11 is made larger than the diameter of the cylindrical flow of the hot water from the hot water supplier 20, and the inner diameter of the constriction portion 12 is made smaller than the diameter of the cylindrical flow of the hot water from the hot water supplier 20 for rinsing away the powder material sticking on the inner wall surface 15 of the cylinder by the cylindrical flow of the hot water from the hot water supplier 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
