<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide vegetable dressing consisting mainly of a primary food material fully exhibiting nutritional value original in soybean and containing no egg so as to have low-calorie and low-cholesterol content; and to provide a method for producing the dressing. <P>SOLUTION: The dressing is obtained by using whole fat soybean powder and water as raw materials, and comprises the primary food material as a main ingredient, edible vegetable oil and fat, vinegar or citrus fruit juice, spices, saccharides, salt, thickener and amino acid.
