<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address input support method that allows a communication terminal device connected to a network to increase user convenience in inputting addresses. <P>SOLUTION: When a character string for a combination of initial characters is inputted to the address input screen of the communication terminal device 10 and determined, the character string is sent to an address search server 62 via a provider server 61. Based on the character string, the address search server 62 extracts candidates for a character sequence written on a plurality of levels and sends them to a provider server 61, the sequence being part of the address to be inputted. Based on the candidates received, the provider server 61 creates screen information and sends this information to the communication terminal device 10.
