<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device of which the display region is enlarged without enlarging outer dimensions, that is, dimensions of a picture frame part. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal module 63 is equipped with a liquid crystal display element 62 and a backlight 3 disposed below the liquid crystal display element 62, and has a common driving circuit substrate 35c connected to the liquid crystal display element 62, folded so as to be in a position two-dimensionally superposed on the backlight 3 and disposed on the lower side of the backlight 3, segment driving circuit substrates 35a, 35b connected to the liquid crystal display element 62, and a joiner 1a to electrically connect the common driving circuit substrate 35c and the segment driving circuit substrate 35a with each other, wherein at least an end of the joiner 1a is freely attachable and detachable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
