<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connecting unit, enabling miniaturization and cost reduction, when an arrangement of the optical fiber of a transmission device side and an arrangement of the optical fiber of a cable side are different. <P>SOLUTION: The optical fiber connection unit comprises an optical fiber sheet 26, switchable connection device side optical fibers 31 and 32 and cable side optical fibers 42 and 43. The optical fiber sheet 26 comprises device-side connection ends 33 and 34 for connecting the device side optical fibers 31 and 32, cable side connection ends 35 and 36 for connecting the cable side optical fibers 42 and 43, connection optical fibers 37 and 38 for connecting the device side connection ends 31 and 32 to the cable side connection ends 35 and 36, and a fixed sheet 39 fixing the connection optical fibers 37 and 38 on the inside.
