<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure weather resistance for use as a solar cell module expected for reliability of 10 years or more in the subject in the weather resistance under an environment which is exposed directly to a sunlight that, when a resin material represented by a polystyrene foam is used as a heat insulator to be mounted on the rear surface of a solar cell panel, a heat insulation is high, a weight is light, and a performance is effective. <P>SOLUTION: A thin film silicon solar cell module is formed by incorporating the heat insulator made of a foamable methacrylic resin on a solar cell element through a rear surface sealing material in the solar cell module having the solar cell element containing the thin film silicon semiconductor layer on a transparent substrate. Thus, as the heat insulator mounted on the rear surface of the solar cell panel, the foam is built having excellent weather resistance, ultraviolet ray resistance, light weight and excellent heat insulation, and the weather resistance is improved in the environment exposed directly to the sunlight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
